Plans & Packages explain how to choose Onyx service before checkout.
A plan is built from the coverage area, recurring data allowance, and optional number features. The product shows the quote before you subscribe.
How Plans Work
Start with coverage. Choose the region where you need service. Then choose the data amount that fits your expected usage.
If you need calls or SMS, add an Onyx number where available. Number features require a voice and SMS features because voice and messaging are managed separately from data.
Choose Coverage
Coverage defines where the plan works.
Pick the region that matches your travel, work, or residency pattern. A global option may be useful for frequent cross-border movement. A regional option may fit a more focused trip.
Always review the included region before checkout.
Choose Data
Data amount depends on how you use the device.
Messaging, maps, email, and light browsing use less. Hotspot, video, uploads, and remote work use more. Choose a recurring allowance that matches normal use rather than the smallest possible pack.
Add A Number
An Onyx number helps when you need to receive calls, send messages, or use a stable contact point.
Number features are optional. If you only need data, you can keep the plan simpler. If calls and SMS matter, add the number and review the voice and SMS features.
Review The Quote
Before checkout, confirm:
- Coverage area.
- Data allowance.
- Number features, if selected.
- Communication bundle, if selected.
- Recurring subscription price.
- Renewal terms.
The quote is the moment to check fit. Do not rely on assumptions from another trip, region, or device.
Pick For Real Use
A good plan is not always the cheapest plan.
For short travel, a smaller data allowance may be enough. For remote work, navigation, hotspoting, and daily communication, choose more room. For long-term cross-border life, a recurring subscription is usually cleaner than repeatedly buying short packs.
What Plans Do Not Guarantee
Plan availability can differ by region. Device support can differ by model. Data coverage does not always mean voice, SMS, or number availability.
Onyx shows the supported choices before purchase so you can choose with less guesswork.
