ONYX ONE

Planned hardware direction for Onyx.

ONYX ONE is the hardware direction for Onyx.

It points to a future where mobile service, identity, wallet, and communication can live on dedicated Onyx hardware.

What It Is

ONYX ONE is a planned product direction, not the current starting point.

The current product starts with Build Your Plan: choose coverage, activate mobile service, and manage the account. ONYX ONE points to a deeper version of that account experience.

Why Hardware Matters

A dedicated device can make access feel more permanent.

Mobile service, identity, secure account actions, wallet features, and communication become cleaner when the hardware and product are designed together.

What It Could Support

A future Onyx device may support:

  • Mobile service setup.
  • Identity and account recovery.
  • Wallet and payment controls.
  • Account-based communication.
  • Hardware-level presence and authentication.
  • Region-aware service management.

What Customers Need To Know Now

Onyx ONE is not required to use Onyx today.

You can build a plan, activate service, manage your account, and use supported features without a dedicated Onyx device.

How It Fits

The device direction fits the same product promise: one account that works across countries.

Hardware can make that promise more durable over time. It can reduce dependency on scattered apps, fragile recovery paths, and device-specific compromises.

What It Is Not

ONYX ONE is not a replacement for the current mobile subscription product.

It is not a speculative gadget claim. Treat it as planned until Onyx presents a customer-ready device program.

Why It Belongs In The Roadmap

Connectivity and identity become more powerful when they have secure, recognizable hardware.

A dedicated device can improve privacy, recovery, presence, and account control beyond what ordinary apps can provide.
