Founder
Donald Gray founded Onyx after more than a decade living and working across Asia. He began in the Network Operations Center at Verizon Wireless, working directly with telecommunications infrastructure at scale.
He later led consumer product activations for Google Japan, Bitcoin.com, FTX, and SoFi while operating across multiple countries and networks.
Technology Leadership
Ruben Babaev leads engineering as Chief Technology Officer. Ruben is the architect of Eywa Smart Kitchen, where he built and shipped over 100,000 units of a premium Android-powered smart kitchen device through a direct-to-consumer model.
In 2021, Ruben founded RubeTON software development agency, where he has lead more than 40 projects from concept through production bringing a deep network of Android and blockchain developers into the Onyx team.
